AARON J. BERESH
Aaron Beresh is an associate with Rickard & Associates, P.C. Prior to that, Mr. Beresh served as in-house counsel for a local construction company.
Mr. Beresh handles a broad range of corporate and litigation matters for companies and individuals. He has assisted numerous ambulance services in a variety of matters including litigation matters, business planning, and employment issues. Mr. Beresh has handled the incorporation of numerous small businesses and prepared, reviewed, and negotiated the crucial legal documents. In addition, Mr. Beresh authored "Businesses, Check Out Fine Print", Lansing State Journal, March 2008, which advises small business owners to be aware that implementing a minimum purchase policy may cause a business to unwittingly breach its processing agreement with credit card companies.
During law school, Mr. Beresh served as a federal judicial extern for the Honorable Bernard A. Friedman, former Chief Judge for the Eastern District of Michigan. Mr. Beresh also worked at the Michigan State University College of Law Small Business & Nonprofit Clinic, providing legal assistance to start-up and existing small businesses and nonprofit organizations including counseling on entity formation, advising on compliance with federal, state and local statutes, rules and regulations, and preparation of various transactional documents.
Mr. Beresh received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics with a business cognate from Michigan State University, in 2004, and his Juris Doctorate degree from the Michigan State University College of Law, magna cum laude, in 2008, where he served as a member of the Business & Securities Law Journal, and on the Executive Board of the Business Law Society. Mr. Beresh is a Member of the State Bar of Michigan and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
